Where Should I Eat?

A lot of people like to eat local and not at a chain!  That’s awesome!  Support the local economy!  (I think a plug from the Jubilee Open should require a sponsorship, but… we mostly care about making our ProMac family happy!)

Also there is Dapper Deliveries (which was started by a local kid…so cool!) and Waitr which will deliver your food from various locations (for a fee of course)!

On Site, we will have the Soul Caffeine Coffee Truck and the Hot Doggery for your food needs!

Here’s some places not far from the Tournament Locations

New York Style Pizza?

Janino’s is our favorite.

We like Stix, which is a chain, but the chefs are so awesome, they remember my order and how i like my steak each time I go in.

Daruma is also great, and close to the tournament venue.  Sometimes for lunch they have all you can eat sushi.

I’d also like to give this great little place a shout out.  Oishi

Great Food?  Maybe even catch a sunset?

Boudreaux’s (which is where the sunset photo was taken for the tournament flier, when we ate there with Reid Presley…and saw Jubilee Open Competitor Connor Roberts and his family…and it just so happens to be right next to the tournament hotel)

Sunset Pointe (owned by Panini Pete from the Food Network.  You may even see some celebrities or other famous chefs.  Eat outside, the view and atmosphere are devine.  Our favorite is the barbecue shrimp appetizer.)

Ed’s Shed (also owned by Panini Pete… see above… and Jimmy Buffett just ate there.) If you’re into fried food and wanna see a beautiful sunset or just look out over the bay, sit on the deck at Ed’s.

Oyster House I don’t know if I’ve ever seen a sunset here, but I like the food.  Pub fare and seafood.  I like to support them because they let first responders eat for free one day a year.

More Great Food?  No sunset, but great atmosphere!

Half Shell Oyster House (which there just happens to be one in Destin and Jubilee Open Competitor, Joey Kirschten’s mom works there.  I craaaaaaaave their potatoes and of course their oysters are relish if you’re into that.  Brunch on Sunday is amazing, too.) Bonus:  It’s at the mall.

Moe’s Barbecue Everyone loves to go to this place for barbecue.  I think they have a really fun atmosphere and some unique decorations.  Really close to the tournament venue.

The Fort is a new place where you can get a little of everything.  It’s a nice open venue, with lots of seating and even a park to play in.  There’s pizza, ice cream, tacos, burgers, Soul Bowlz (my favorite) and even chicken and waffles.

Other Places You Would Like

Glazed Donuts is a Tournament Sponsor

and I’m giving them a picture, too. We love their donuts and they are super sweet people.  I mean… how cool of them to support the Jubilee Open.  And they make their doughnuts fresh each day.  And they’re giving back to the community and supporting us!

Panini Pete’s  (Hey, Pete… here’s another plug) Great sandwiches and you have got to try the beignets.  They outdo any from New Orleans, but you’ve got to be there by 10 am to make sure you get some.  The atmosphere is great and Fairhope is quaint area to visit as well!

Ice Cream

Whit’s  They have weekly flavor specials and make the custard right there in the shop.   My favorite is the Hawaiian Luau Whitser.

Healthy Stuff

Soul Bowlz is one of my favorite places.  I love Acai and their granola is so delicious. Don’t be freaked out by healthy stuff.  Just order based on your mood and enjoy.  They offer smoothies as well.

Fresh Healthy Cafe is owned by a local family.  We love their sandwiches and lemonades.
